  • RCWW Presents Grant to SW Varsity Girls Basketball

We are proud to present a $2,500 grant to the South Whidbey High School Girls Basketball team. The funds will help ensure that all the team members can fully participate in basketball camp and also help purchase much needed equipment for the team.

  • Meerkerk Gardens Project

We recently gathered at Meerkerk gardens to work on a new section of their beautiful property. Meerkerk is one of the highlights for tourists and locals alike to visit, so we are proud to be a part helping grow and nurture this great place.

  • Event Volunteering

We volunteer to assist with many different events here on South Whidbey, including the Meals on Wheels 5k pictured here.

  • Roadside Cleanup

We’ve adopted a section of HWY 525 just north of Freeland. We clear the HWY of garbage and debris 4 times per year. Just another example of getting our hands dirty to improve the community here on South Whidbey.

The Four-Way Test

of the things we think, say, or do…

Is it the truth?
Is it fair to all concerned?
Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

Whidbey Westside is a Rotary Club on located on South Whidbey Island. We are a group of local community members who seek to make a positive impact on our local and broader communities through service and fellowship. We are active in supporting those individuals and organizations that strive to improve the community here on South Whidbey. By serving the community and making sure that we have fun doing it, we are able to continue to leverage the global influence of the Rotary Organization here on Whidbey Island and abroad. Our activities include service projects like cleaning up our stretch of highway north of Freeland, Vocational After-Hours Events that allow us to visit our members’ places of business and learn more about what they do professionally, and social events, like our regular Seahawks Monday Night Football Tailgating Party held at Wifire in Freeland.
